Revanth faults CM KCR for boycotting Ugadi celebrations at Raj Bhavan

TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Saturday faulted Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for boycotting Ugadi celebrations hosted by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Talking to reporters, the Congress leader stated that the CM should respect the constitutional institutions. “If there are differences with the Governor then KCR can express his opinions in different forums,” he advised. He mentioned that onus lies on every politician and citizen to respect the people occupying constitutional posts. “Supporters of democracy should condemn the actions of the CM,” Revanth demanded. He further added that the Telangana Congress has fulfilled its responsibility by participating in festival celebrations in Raj Bhavan.
